Emrooz, i was at a bar mitzvah (persian, of course) and they passed out shirinee for all the mard oh zanah. trays filled with noglh (the white sugary candy) and gas. by the time it got to me NOTHING was left. i look to my right and see this peereh zan filling her pockets and purse with the candies. Emrooz my mom asked me "Vhy I didn't have a girlferend." I was so shocked that she was actually was encouraging this that I wanted to clarify. "Mom by girlfriend do you mean doost dokhtar?" She says "Nahh baba! Chanta doost ke dokhtar hastan peydah kon ke yesareh pool dashtan. Ageh behashoon nice basheed, mebaranet mosarferat." Thanks mom, for teaching me not to be shallow.
